Savvy Studio recently completed this new branding project for Kate linens. Kate underwent a brand restructure to simplify their many sub-brands and put them under one umbrella.  The goal was to establish themselves as a market leader in hospitality linen.
The new brand evokes ideas of quality, design and effortless luxury - with the key message being everyday ease. Graphic styling and logo creation are all informed and inspired by the monstera leaf, which had accompanied the brand since its original conception. The branding system is inspired by luscious jungle vegetation to create patterns which accompany the different products they carry. The design approach extends through to environmentally conscious packaging, all plastic packaging has been removed and replaced by a single band that holds the fabric together. It allows customers to experience first-hand the superior quality of the materials.

The overall result is a highly crafted luxury brand that connects with the audience at an emotional level. The organic, natural styling helps create an approachable but sophisticated positioning that will serve them well in the hospitality market.

Ranging from abstract people, fashion, modern geometric and on to sci-fi rainbow fantasy! The results are truly unreal. It’s a brilliant collection of work, and the design layouts show a masterful approach to both illustration and typography.

Logo Design for Mamie | By Violanine & Jeremy

Creative agency Violaine & Jérémy have once again impressed us with some bold new branding for Mamie restaurant. The new Paris establishment is run by Jean Imbert and his inspirational Grandmother (who we suspect is responsible for his passion in food). The approach is done in the V&J signature style, where the typography takes a lead role in styling the overall design. The concept is supported by a range of full colour vintage illustrations, which depict hand drawn organic vegetables and ingredients.

Photography Book Cover Design

Every now and then I find some great photography book cover design ideas, this little gem was one I recently found. It definitely makes me happy seeing things that have life after the internet. Books that make you want to read and enjoy right before bed. Seeing these projects helps inspire me to take more photos, and then actually do something with them. To often they end up just sitting on our hard drives or tucked safely away in on our cloud storage - never to be seen again.
