Travel Photography | Beach Exploration
If you get the chance to travel to New Zealand it's definitely worth heading up past Auckland to Omaha Beach. There's a bunch of well equipped 'baches' often available for rent on AirBnB. They make a perfect home base for photography explorations.
Inspiring Cover Designs
Here are a few of my favourite book cover designs. It's always fun seeing how my imagery will translate into a finished piece. Some of themes unlikely images can suddenly come to life when they are surrounded by some well considered graphic design and typography.
Travel Destinations | Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia
Bondi Beach is one of the most visited sites in Australia, it's located about 7 km east of the Sydney. It's definitely one of my favourite spots to visit and take photos. There are loads of things to do, including surf lessons. If you get bored of the beach there are loads of cafes and an eclectic array of shopping markets. If you are up for some exercise don't forget the coastal walks.
Vintage beach processing.
I've added some slightly vintage processing to this shot of St Heliers Beach in Auckland New Zealand. This includes softening the sky colour and making sure the sand and timber colours were pushed towards a more burnt orange. It definitely reminds me of those long hot New Zealand summers at the beach.
