Adobe Lightroom: New Zealand Summer Sunset. Before & After

This was a great opportunity to add the color and atmosphere of this sunset back into the photograph - much of the warmth and evening color was lost in the RAW image. I managed to bring this back to life with Lightroom, the main adjustment was with the color in the shadow areas which I warmed up. I also pulled a bit more detail out of the cloud areas and generally lightened up the the image.

Fricking nice work! I’ve been looking at all your images on Flickr, amazing stuff. Makes me want to quit programming and get out and about with a camera! Also makes me want to play with lightroom :)
