This week Clase Design Studio in Barcelona caught my eye. Their contemporary approach to design, strategic thinking, art, culture and strong conceptual execution makes for a highly engaging body of work.
I stumbled across this logo design for an upcoming cycling guild call Fount. The design by Amy Wilson really stuck with me. I can’t quite put my finger on why, but it has a striking retro feel and some interesting little quirks. Cool angled cross bars, the deep color-way, and crafted letterforms and typography. It will be very exciting to see what Amy Wilson does with the rest of the brand identity, let's stay tuned and see how it develops.

Violaine & Jeremy continue to impress with their new series of graphic posters for "Le Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord".
The parisian institution "Le Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord" commissioned Violaine & Jeremy to develop their visual identity for the 17-18 season. The result is a timeless piece of design, with distinct vintage themes. They enlisted the help of talented to illustrator Anna Kövecses to produce the highly graphic illustrations, which have been masterfully integrated with the bespoke typography.

This beautiful design was created by Hannah Stout for the folks behind Odettes (another eatery that Hannah Stout worked on), Hugo’s is a cozy but sumptuous space with a interior fit-out all about tactility and understated luxury. The design challenge here was to mark out a clear identity for Hugo’s, while still maintaining a subtle connection to its “big sister” restaurant.
